Private Puppy Training
Do you find it hard to make it to a group class after a
long day of work? Would you like the whole family
involved with the training instead of just one in the class?
Are you having a hard time with puppy management in
the home? Do you have a lot of questions that group
classes don't have time to address? If this is you, private
training can help. I can address any questions or
concerns you have about your puppy. Together, we will
come up with a training schedule that works for you and
your family. I will create a personalized training plan that
meets your families needs so you can live in harmony
with your new pup. We will cover dog language, what is
your pup trying to communicate with you? Using treats to
teach, not bribe. Basic foundation cues that will matter to
you most, and how to use those cues to help in every day situations, how to properly socialize your puppy so they grow to be confident happy dogs and more! Contact me for your free discovery call!
If you are in the Calgary area we can do one on one in your home. Outside of Calgary will be via online conference but will travel if needed with extra travel fee.
These lessons are held early evening Monday, Wednesday or Friday.

Private Dog Walks
Do you have a dog who has a hard time in a group and
would enjoy a mid day walk while you are out? Is your
dog a bit anxious, maybe even barking and lunging at
others peacefully walking by? Would you like a day that
you can reset and not have to worry about walking your
furry pal? Are you having a hard time finding someone to
walk your dog solo? I can help! I've been in your situation,
and as much as you love your dog, I understand how
draining it can sometimes be to walk them. There are
times you just wished you had someone you could trust
that can handle it. As a certified positive dog trainer with
over 10 years of dog walking experience, I have the
qualifications and experience to help you! We start with
me visiting you at your home, and we get the dog
familiar with me. It may take a few visits, and that's ok.
Once your dog feels safe with me, I'll take them out on a
quick trial walk. After that, I can start taking them out
while you are out. How long that process is will depend on your dog. We will go at the

Puppy Day Training
Is it hard to make to a class after a long day of work? Do you have a hard time fitting in puppy training homework into your already busy schedule? Are you struggling with getting the technique or training right? Is training your puppy feeling more like a chore than something that is an enjoyable activity for you to do together? Do you find yourself wishing you had someone to come and do this for you? If this sounds like you, then please know your not alone. Puppy training can take up the same amount of time as adding another part time job! I get it. I have gone through the puppy stage, and everyone wants a puppy, till they get a puppy and see all the work involved! That being said, the puppy stage can also be a magical place where you build a strong connection with that little 4 legged creature that has entered your home and stolen your heart. If you have ever had those thoughts, I'm here to help you through this stage in your relationship with your new little puppy.
What is day training and how can it help you? First we meet and discuss what your day to day will look like with your puppy. We tailor a training plan based on your needs. Once we discuss what is most important for you and your dog to live together in harmony, I then come to your house and do the training for you. We meet once a week to discuss the training progress and how you can continue forward with what's been taught so far. As the puppy gets better with the cue in the home, we then take the training on the road and visit different environments and practice the cues there to ensure the dog knows what's expected inside and outside of the home. This allows you to have more free time to enjoy, play and bond with your puppy. Learning the proper technique of training also takes time to learn, so having a day trainer makes training go much faster than doing a group class once a week.
All techniques and training will be positive and fun for your puppy. No e collars, prong or choke collars are used in teaching your puppy.
What will the program include?
All packages will include -
1. Dog language - Being able to read your dogs body language is so important when working with your dog. I'll teach you how your dog communicates with you.
2. Training methods - There are a variety of ways we can teach your dog and we will figure out what works best for you and your pup. We also go over the mechanics so you don't make the common mistake of bribing your dog.
3. Weekly meet up and updates on your puppy's progress.
4. PDF material to refer back to.
Package 1 - Basic foundation cues - These are the cues that we teach first and then build on to teach more complex behaviors.
Level 2 cues - After they have learned the basic cue, we teach them how to do it with distractions around and in different environments. I also show you how different cues can be used in real life scenarios.
Package 2 - Rocket recall - This is great for people who love taking their dogs hiking and want to let them off leash. It's a 6 week premade training program. We can start this program as early as 9 weeks of age.
Package 3 - Loose leash walking - This is a premade
program. It is 6 weeks long. We start with teaching a
few basic cues in the home then take it to the street.
Puppies can't walk for very long, so we start this one
at 10 weeks of age when they are able to walk a little
further.
All Packages are 6 weeks long. I visit with your pup
1 hour a day, 3 days a week and we meet once weekly
for follow up. I always start wherever your dog is at with learning and we go from there.
I have found it is best to give your puppy a week at home with you to give them time to adjust to the new home and family. Packages can start as early as 9 weeks of age.
